Method

Combine lime juice, water, and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves completely, about 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.

Slice the nectarines into thin slices, removing the pit and discarding it.

Slice the firm banana thinly and place in a large mixing bowl.

Add the nectarine slices, blueberries, sliced strawberries, watermelon balls, green grapes, and chopped kiwi to the bowl with the banana.

Pour the cooled lime syrup over the fruit and gently toss until all fruit is evenly coated.

Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld and chill.

Divide the fruit salad among serving bowls or plates and serve chilled.
