Chop the cilantro leaves into small pieces, discarding any thick stems.

Combine the diced watermelon, chopped red onion, minced jalapeno, and cilantro in a medium bowl.

Pour the lime juice over the mixture and add the pinch of brown sugar, stirring gently to combine all ingredients without breaking down the watermelon.

Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more lime juice or brown sugar as desired for balance between sweet and tangy flavors.
