Combine the cooked red beans and diced California avocado in a medium bowl, gently mashing with a fork until a chunky paste forms while leaving some texture intact.

Fold in the minced red onion, diced red Roma tomatoes, and minced jalapeno, stirring gently to distribute evenly throughout the mixture.

Add the cilantro and stir to incorporate, reserving a small handful for garnish if desired.

Squeeze the lime juice over the spread and add 2 drops of Tabasco sauce, stirring to combine thoroughly.

Season with a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper, tasting and adjusting the seasonings to preference.
