Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and warm each flour tortilla for about 30 seconds per side until lightly golden and pliable, then transfer to a plate.

In a saucepan, combine the refried beans, chili powder, and ground cumin over medium heat, stirring frequently until warmed through.

Warm the diced cooked turkey in a separate skillet over medium heat, seasoning lightly if desired, then set aside.

Spread approximately 3 tablespoons of the spiced refried bean mixture onto each warmed tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.

Layer about ½ cup of warm turkey onto the bean-topped tortillas, distributing evenly across the surface.

Sprinkle approximately 2 tablespoons of shredded cheddar or jack cheese over the turkey on each tostada.

Top each tostada with a portion of the chopped tomatoes and chopped green onions, dividing both evenly among the eight tostadas.
