Drain the canned tuna thoroughly and place it in a medium bowl, breaking apart any large chunks with a fork.

Add the chopped onion, Parmesan cheese, Old Bay seasoning, and dry oats to the tuna and stir until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each one into a compact patty about ½ inch thick.

Heat a skillet or non-stick pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.

Place the tuna cakes in the hot pan and cook for 5-6 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy.
