Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the wheat flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg, whisking together until evenly blended.

Add the margarine to the dry ingredients and rub it in with your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring with a fork or wooden spoon until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms. Be careful not to overwork the dough.

Using two spoons or a small cookie scoop, drop rounded portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 3 cm apart.

Bake the drops in the preheated oven until golden brown and firm to the touch on top.

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the spicy drops to cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
