Salad Seasoning

Measure out all dry ingredients: sesame seeds, paprika, salt or salt substitute, poppy seeds, celery seeds, garlic powder, coarse ground black pepper, and cayenne pepper into a small mixing bowl.

Add the Romano cheese to the bowl with the dry ingredients.

Whisk all ingredients together thoroughly until evenly combined, breaking up any clumps of cheese so the seasoning mixture is uniform.

Transfer the finished seasoning to an airtight container or glass jar for storage.

Use the seasoning immediately on fresh salads by sprinkling to taste, or store in a cool, dry place for up to 3 months.
