Combine Cookie's Bar-B-Q Sauce, water, lemon juice, and dark vinegar in a large mixing bowl, stirring until well blended.

Add corn oil, Worcestershire sauce, and yellow mustard to the bowl, whisking together until the mixture is uniform and emulsified.

Stir in pepper, garlic salt, and Durkee's Smoke salt until evenly distributed throughout the marinade.

Add the large onion wedges to the marinade and stir to coat them well.

Submerge the meat in the marinade, ensuring it is fully covered by the liquid, then cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid.

Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, turning the meat occasionally to ensure even marinade absorption.
