Wear gloves and carefully stem, seed, and roughly chop the hot red peppers, removing as much of the white pith as desired to control heat level.

Dice the sweet green pepper, peel and mince the garlic clove, and dice the medium onion into small pieces.

Heat a large saucepan over medium heat and add the diced onion, allowing it to soften for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the minced garlic and chopped hot peppers to the pan, stirring well to combine and cook for 2 minutes until fragrant.

Stir in the diced sweet green pepper and cook for 2 minutes, then add both cans of tomato paste and stir thoroughly.

Pour in the vinegar and add the sugar and salt, stirring until all ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is smooth.

Reduce heat to low and simmer the sauce uncovered for 15–18 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened and the flavors have melded.
