Sudanese Meat Sauce

Ingredients
- kg Lamb or Beef1 unitcut into pieces
- tbs oil (vegetable or sesame)2 unit

- tomato sauce/paste1 can
- 1/2 tsp

- 1 or 2 unit

Method

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves, then set them aside on a cutting board.

Heat a medium saucepan or skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of oil. Sauté the chopped onion until it becomes soft and translucent.

Add the chopped garlic to the pan and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant and lightly golden. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Add the ground cumin to the onion and garlic mixture, stirring well to toast the spice and coat the aromatics evenly.
