If using silken tofu as a base, drain and blend it in a food processor or blender until completely smooth and creamy before proceeding.

3
In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise (or blended silken tofu) with the ketchup and chili sauce, whisking together until fully incorporated and the mixture turns a uniform pale orange-pink color.

4
Add the sweet pickle relish, chopped sweet pickles, minced onions, green onions, and green pepper to the mayonnaise mixture, stirring well to combine.

5
Season the dressing with lemon juice, white vinegar, granulated sugar, salt, and pepper, then taste and adjust the balance of sweetness and acidity to your preference.

6
If the dressing is too thick, add water one teaspoon at a time and stir until the desired consistency is reached.
1 minutes
7
Transfer the dressing to an airtight container or jar and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld together fully.
60 minutes
8
Stir the dressing once more before serving, then use immediately as a salad dressing, sandwich spread, or dipping sauce, storing any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to one week.
