Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups cooked rice, 2½ cups milk, sugar, salt, beaten eggs, butter, vanilla extract, and ground cloves until well mixed.

Pour the rice mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading evenly across the bottom.

Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, until the pudding is set around the edges but still slightly creamy in the center.

Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and ground black pepper as needed.

Divide pudding among four serving bowls and garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley. Serve warm.
