Dissolve the strawberry-flavored gelatin according to package directions and allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until it reaches a syrupy consistency (not fully set).

Beat the cream cheese with a mixer until smooth and creamy, then gradually blend in the salad dressing until fully combined.

Whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.

Fold the cooled gelatin into the cream cheese and whipped cream mixture until evenly incorporated.

Fold in the drained crushed pineapple, quartered marshmallows, and drained maraschino cherries until just combined.

Pour the mixture into a serving bowl or individual dishes and refrigerate until ready to serve.
