Fresh Peach Brûlée

Ingredients

Halve each peach by cutting along the natural seam from top to bottom, then twist the halves gently to separate them and remove the pit.

Brush the cut surface of each peach half lightly with fresh lemon juice using a pastry brush or spoon, distributing evenly across all four halves.

Arrange the peach halves cut-side up on a small baking sheet or ovenproof plate.

Lightly coat the top surface of each peach half with the butter-flavored cooking spray in a thin, even layer, using 2-3 quick bursts.

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of packed light brown sugar evenly over the cut surface of each peach half, ensuring full coverage.

Preheat the broiler to high setting for 2-3 minutes until fully heated.

Place the baking sheet under the broiler about 4-5 inches from the heat source and broil for 4-5 minutes until the sugar is caramelized and golden brown with some charred spots.
