Gather your ingredients: Bailey's Irish Cream and Kahlúa coffee liqueur. Ensure both bottles are chilled or have ice ready to serve the drink cold.

Fill a tall highball glass generously with ice cubes, leaving enough room for the liquid ingredients.

Pour 1.5 oz of Kahlúa coffee liqueur over the ice as the base layer of the drink.

Slowly pour 1.5 oz of Bailey's Irish Cream over the back of a spoon or gently over the Kahlúa to create a layered effect. The cream liqueur will naturally sit above the denser coffee liqueur.
