Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch square baking pan with oil.

Whisk together eggs and sugar in a large bowl until pale and slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.

Add oil to the egg mixture and stir until fully combined.

In a separate bowl, combine cocoa, cake meal, salt, and chopped nuts.

Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined; do not overmix.

Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
