Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan or bundt pan.

Whisk together all purpose flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, grated orange peel, mace, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.

In a separate bowl, combine orange concentrate, apple sauce, vegetable oil, and vanilla until well blended.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; do not overmix.

Fold in the chopped pecans or walnuts, dried apricots, and dates until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Transfer the batter to the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
