Slow Cooker Tex-Mex Turkey Wraps

  • turkey breast tenderloins
    2 pounds
  • ¼ teaspoon
  • ¼ teaspoon
  • onion
    chopped (½ cup)

  • envelopes (1.25 ounces each) Old El Paso ® taco seasoning mix

Place turkey breast tenderloins in a slow cooker and season with seasoned salt and pepper.

Add chopped onion and water to the slow cooker, stirring gently to combine.

Sprinkle the two envelopes of taco seasoning mix over the turkey and onion mixture, stirring well to distribute evenly.

Cover the slow cooker and cook on high heat for 30 minutes, or until the turkey is cooked through and easily shreds with a fork.

Remove the turkey from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks, then return the shredded turkey to the slow cooker and stir to coat with the cooking liquid and seasonings.

Warm the flour tortillas according to package directions, either by wrapping in a damp paper towel and microwaving for 1-2 minutes or heating in a dry skillet.

Lay out a warm tortilla and place a portion of shredded seasoned turkey down the center of each tortilla.
