Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, stirring frequently, until fragrant.

Add couscous to the pan and stir constantly for 2-3 minutes, coating the grains evenly with oil and toasting lightly.

Pour in chicken broth and add cumin, salt, and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Stir well to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid.

Simmer for 8 minutes without lifting the lid, allowing the couscous to absorb the broth and become tender.
