Ingredients
- 4 unit
- graham crackers (4" x 2" - 10cm x 5cm)4 unit
- (55g) chocolate bar2 oz
Method
1
Gather your ingredients and equipment: graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate bars (such as Hershey's), and a long roasting stick or skewer. Break the graham crackers in half to create square pieces and place a square of chocolate on one half.
2 minutes
2
Build or prepare a campfire or heat source, allowing it to burn down to glowing embers rather than open flames for more even toasting. Position yourself safely at an appropriate distance from the heat.
15 minutes
3
Thread one marshmallow securely onto the tip of your roasting stick, ensuring it is firmly in place so it does not fall into the fire.
4
Hold the marshmallow approximately 6 inches above the glowing embers, rotating the stick slowly and continuously to toast it evenly on all sides. Toast until the marshmallow turns a deep golden brown and the exterior is caramelized.
3 minutes
5
If the marshmallow catches fire, gently blow it out and continue toasting over the embers for a more controlled, even result. Adjust your distance from the heat source as needed.
1 minutes
6
Carefully slide the hot toasted marshmallow off the stick directly onto the chocolate-topped graham cracker half. The heat from the marshmallow will begin to melt the chocolate beneath it.
7
Immediately press the second plain graham cracker half firmly on top of the marshmallow, sandwiching it between the two crackers. Hold the sandwich together for a few seconds to allow the marshmallow to adhere.

8
Allow the s'more to rest for 30 seconds so the chocolate melts further and the marshmallow sets slightly, then serve and enjoy immediately while warm.
