Delicious Bruschetta

A great recipe I make often. Requests are the norm, and people can not believe the tomatoes are canned.

Drain and rinse the diced tomatoes thoroughly to remove excess liquid, then pat dry with paper towels.

Combine the drained tomatoes, crushed garlic, lemon juice, and lemon pepper in a medium bowl.

Drizzle in the olive oil and gently toss until all ingredients are well coated and evenly distributed.

Season the tomato mixture with salt and pepper to taste, stirring to combine.

Fold in the fresh basil chiffonade just before serving, preserving its delicate texture and vibrant color.

Allow the bruschetta topping to rest for a few minutes at room temperature so the flavors can meld together.
