Peel the ripe bananas and mash them thoroughly in a mixing bowl until smooth with no large lumps remaining.

Crush the cardamom pods and extract the seeds, then grind or crush them finely to release their aromatic flavor.

Add the egg, sugar, crushed cardamom seeds, flour, and baking powder to the mashed bananas and stir until a thick, cohesive batter forms.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan or skillet to approximately 350°F (175°C), or until a small piece of batter sizzles immediately upon contact.

Carefully drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil, working in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.

Fry the fritters for 2–3 minutes until the bottom side is golden brown, then flip using a slotted spoon or fork.
