Drain the extra-firm tofu and wrap it in a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Press gently for several minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut the tofu into finger-sized strips approximately 3 inches long and 1 inch wide.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the tofu fingers on the sheet in a single layer without overlapping.

Drizzle the tofu fingers lightly with vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt and garlic powder, adjusting seasonings to taste. Toss gently to coat evenly.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Bake the tofu fingers for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the edges are golden brown and crispy.

While the tofu bakes, combine the vegetarian oyster-style sauce and barbecue sauce in a small bowl to create a dipping sauce. Adjust the ratio to your preferred taste.
