Rinse the blueberries under cool water and drain them thoroughly in a colander.

Transfer the blueberries to a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.

Continue cooking and stirring until the mixture reaches a jam-like consistency and most of the liquid has reduced, about 10-15 minutes more.
