For a richly flavored creamy sauce with sausage - it can't get much easier than this! Plus it pairs perfectly with store bought dry pasta (we recommend rigatoni or penne).

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and crumble the sausage meat directly into the pan, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon as it cooks until browned throughout.

Add the finely chopped carrot and minced garlic clove to the sausage, stirring continuously to combine and cook until the carrot begins to soften.

Reduce heat to medium and pour in the ladle of bechamel, stirring gently to create a smooth, creamy sauce that coats the sausage and vegetables.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss until all pieces are well coated and heated through.

Divide the pasta among serving plates and finish each portion with grated parmesan cheese and, if desired, truffle shavings.
