- box fettuccine pasta1 unit

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente.

While the pasta cooks, add the butter to a large skillet over medium heat and let it melt completely.

Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, stirring occasionally.

Pour the heavy cream into the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.

Reduce the heat to low and gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese to the cream, stirring constantly until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
