- of well crisped Bacon2 slices
- mixture of Monterey jack and sharp cheddar cheese¼ cup

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or prepare a grill pan over medium-high heat on the stovetop.

Pat the boneless skinless chicken breast dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper on both sides.

Place the chicken breast on the hot grill or grill pan and cook for 5-6 minutes until grill marks appear and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Flip the chicken and spread 2 teaspoons of barbecue sauce across the top surface.

Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, then remove from heat and transfer to a serving plate.

Top the grilled chicken with the mixture of Monterey jack and sharp cheddar cheese and place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until melted.
