Prepare your ingredients by finely chopping the onions, mincing the garlic, and slicing the chili peppers. Set all prepped aromatics aside.

In a bowl, combine the vinegar, brown sugar, black pepper, and a splash of beef stock to create the seasoning marinade. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Heat oil in a large skillet or cast iron pan over medium-high heat. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant and lightly golden, about 1-2 minutes.

Add the chopped onions and chili peppers to the pan and cook, stirring frequently, until the onions are softened and translucent.

Pour in the beef stock and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, allowing the flavors to meld together.
