Chocolate-dipped Bananas

Peel bananas and insert a popsicle stick into the center of each banana, positioning it about halfway down for easy handling.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper to prevent the chocolate from sticking.

Chop the chocolate bars into small pieces and place them in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.

Heat the chocolate with butter either in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, or over a double boiler until fully melted and smooth.

Dip each banana stick into the melted chocolate, rotating to coat evenly, then hold it over the bowl briefly to allow excess chocolate to drip off.

Place each dipped banana on the prepared baking sheet and refrigerate until the chocolate is completely set, about 5 minutes.
