Ingredients
- ⅔ cup
- ½ cup
- 1½ teaspoons
- ⅔ cup
- butter or margarine2 tablespoonsmelted
- blueberries2 cupscleaned and washed
Method
1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch round baking dish or 8x8-inch square baking dish with additional butter or cooking spray.
2
Combine the flour, sugar, and baking powder in a medium bowl, whisking together until evenly mixed.
3
Stir in the melted butter or margarine and low-fat milk until a smooth batter forms. Do not overmix; the batter should be thick and pourable.
4
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly across the bottom.
5
Scatter the cleaned blueberries evenly over the batter. Do not stir; the berries will sink and rise during baking to create the cobbler texture.
6
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30–35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the cake portion comes out clean.

7
Remove from the oven and allow the cobbler to cool for 5–10 minutes before serving. The cobbler will continue to set slightly as it cools.
