Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease an 8-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.

In a large bowl, toss the blueberries with sugar and lemon juice until evenly coated, then spread the mixture evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
