Ingredients

  • coconut milk or 1 cup fresh coconut milk
    1 can
  • half ripe banana
    cut into large pieces
    1 unit
  • half ripe mango
    seed removed, cut into pieces
    1 unit
  • 1 tbsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 unit

Method

Pour the coconut milk into a medium saucepan and heat over medium-high heat until it begins to simmer gently.

Add the sugar and salt to the coconut milk, stirring well to dissolve both ingredients completely.

Add the banana pieces to the coconut milk and stir gently to coat evenly.

Simmer for 3 minutes, allowing the banana to soften slightly and absorb the coconut flavors.

Add the mango pieces to the saucepan and stir gently to combine with the banana and coconut milk.

Grate or crumble the nutmeg directly into the mixture and stir to distribute evenly throughout.

Simmer for an additional 3–4 minutes until both fruits are tender but still hold their shape.
