Combine mashed mangos, apple juice, and sugar in a bowl and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

Gently fold the whipped heavy cream into the mango mixture in two additions, using a rubber spatula to maintain the airy texture and avoid deflating the cream.

Divide the mousse evenly among 4 serving cups or bowls.

Sprinkle a dash of nutmeg over the top of each mousse for garnish and subtle spice.

Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving, or up to 4 hours for best texture and flavor development.
