Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan or kettle.

Pour the boiling water over the mango gelatin in a large bowl and stir constantly for about 2 minutes until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

Add ⅓ cup cold water to the gelatin mixture and stir well to combine.

Place the gelatin mixture in the refrigerator until it reaches a syrupy consistency, approximately 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally to check consistency.

Fold the thawed non-dairy whipped topping and plain yogurt into the partially set gelatin until smooth and evenly combined.

Gently fold the 1 cup of peeled and chopped mango into the mixture until evenly distributed.

Divide the salad mixture evenly among 4 serving dishes or glasses.

Top each serving with chopped nuts and mango slices for garnish.

Refrigerate until serving, or serve immediately if the gelatin has reached the desired set.
