Grape Punch
This is a recipe I obtained from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hartman Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1984.

Ingredients
- envelope grape flavor unsweetened Kool-Aid1 unit
- envelope orange flavor unsweetened Kool-Aid1 unit
- 2 cups
- 3 quarts
- ginger ale chilled1 quart
Method

Combine the grape flavor Kool-Aid envelope and orange flavor Kool-Aid envelope in a large pitcher or punch bowl.

Add the sugar to the Kool-Aid envelopes and stir well until the dry ingredients are thoroughly mixed.

Pour the cold water into the pitcher and stir continuously until the sugar and Kool-Aid are completely dissolved, about 1-2 minutes.

Chill the punch mixture in the refrigerator until ready to serve, or add ice to cool immediately.

Just before serving, pour the chilled ginger ale into the punch and stir gently to combine.

Serve in glasses filled with ice and ladle punch into each serving.
