Partially thaw the frozen strawberries in syrup by letting them sit at room temperature for 2–3 minutes, then place them in a blender along with the ½ banana, breaking the banana into chunks for easier blending.

Add the ¾ scoop of ice, 3 ounces of orange juice, and 1 ounce of sweet and sour mix to the blender.

Blend on high speed for 3–5 minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy with no visible chunks of fruit or ice.

Divide the smoothie evenly among four serving glasses, filling each about three-quarters full.

Garnish each glass with one fresh California strawberry slice and one orange slice balanced on the rim.
