Ingredients

  • 2 cups
  • pack (4-serving size) Jell-O brand strawberry flavor sugar-free gelatin
    1 unit
  • carton (8 oz.) plain low-fat yogurt
    1 unit
  • 1 cup
  • banana
    cut into chunks
    1 large

Method

Pour the cold skim milk into a blender and add the strawberry flavor sugar-free gelatin powder. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds until the gelatin is completely dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

Add the plain low-fat yogurt to the blender and blend for 15 seconds until fully incorporated.

Add the banana chunks to the blender and blend for 30 seconds until the banana is pureed and the mixture is uniform.

Add the crushed ice to the blender and blend on high speed for 45 seconds until the shake is thick, creamy, and well-chilled.

Pour the shake evenly into four glasses and serve immediately.
