Caribbean Fruit Shake
This delicious drink is great for kids who are lactose intolerant because it tastes very creamy but does not contain milk. Although optional, Grenadine syrup (available in the soft drink section of supermarkets) turns the shake a wonderful pink.

- banana1 unitripe
- ½ cup
- ½ cup
- grenadine syrup1 tbspoptional
- 1 cup

Peel the ripe banana and break it into chunks to facilitate blending.

Combine the banana chunks, pineapple juice, orange juice, and ice cubes in a blender.

Add the grenadine syrup if desired for additional sweetness and color.
