Rinse the fresh strawberries under cool water and pat dry with paper towels. Remove the stems and discard, then slice half of the strawberries into thin rounds and set aside for garnish.

Combine the remaining whole strawberries with sugar in a blender and blend until smooth, creating a strawberry puree.

Pour the strawberry puree through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, pressing gently with a spoon to extract all liquid and discard the solids.

Stir the dry red wine, lemon juice, and thawed frozen orange juice concentrate into the strawberry puree until well combined.

Divide the strawberry-wine mixture equally among four glasses filled with ice cubes.
