Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare two waffle irons or have them ready for use.

Cream together butter and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Beat in eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.

Gently fold in flour and shredded almonds until just combined, being careful not to overmix the batter.

Heat the waffle iron until it is hot, then lightly butter each section.

Pour approximately 1-2 tablespoons of batter into each waffle iron section, working in batches.
