Ingredients

  • (10½ ounces) frozen breaded chicken breast patties
    1 package
  • wheat sandwich buns
    split
    4 whole
  • purchased black bean dip
    8 teaspoons
  • thick-and-chunky salsa
    ¼ cup
  • ½ cup

Method

Cook the frozen breaded chicken breast patties according to package directions until golden and cooked through.

While the chicken cooks, split the wheat sandwich buns and lightly toast them if desired for added texture.

Spread 1 teaspoon of black bean dip on the bottom half of each bun.

Stir together the thick-and-chunky salsa and shredded lettuce in a small bowl.

Place one cooked chicken breast patty on top of the black bean dip on each bun bottom.

Top each chicken patty with the salsa and lettuce mixture, dividing evenly.
