- good stock (preferably made from chicken carcass with one onion1 pint

Bring the stock to a boil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Add the shelled peanuts to the boiling stock and stir well to combine.

Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 15 minutes, allowing the peanuts to soften and release their flavor into the stock.

Pour the soup into a blender (work in batches if needed) and blend until smooth and creamy.

Return the blended soup to the pot and stir in the milk, heating through on medium heat for 2-3 minutes until steaming.
