Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the French or Italian bread loaf in half lengthwise, creating two long, flat pieces.

Mince the garlic clove finely and combine it in a small bowl with the softened butter, garlic powder, basil, oregano, and parsley until well mixed.

Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both cut sides of the bread, covering the surface generously.

Place the bread halves cut-side up on a baking sheet or oven-safe pan.

Bake for 8-10 minutes until the bread is golden brown and the butter is bubbling at the edges.
