  • lean ground beef (92% lean or better)
    1 pound
  • diced tomatoes with green chiles
    1 can
  • or less taco seasoning mix (mostly cumin)
    2 teaspoons
  • 2 tablespoons
  • Mexican seasoning
    1 dash
  • corn tortilla chips
    1 unit

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Spread a single, even layer of tortilla chips across the prepared baking sheet, making sure the chips overlap as little as possible for even topping coverage.

Sprinkle a generous, even layer of shredded cheese over the tortilla chips, ensuring most chips are covered.

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake until the cheese is fully melted and beginning to bubble, watching carefully to avoid burning the chips.
