- or less taco seasoning mix (mostly cumin)2 teaspoons
- 2 tablespoons
- Mexican seasoning1 dash

1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.

2
Spread a single, even layer of tortilla chips across the prepared baking sheet, making sure the chips overlap as little as possible for even topping coverage.
2 minutes
3
Sprinkle a generous, even layer of shredded cheese over the tortilla chips, ensuring most chips are covered.
2 minutes
4
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake until the cheese is fully melted and beginning to bubble, watching carefully to avoid burning the chips.
8 minutes
5
Remove the nachos from the oven and allow them to cool slightly for about one minute so the melted cheese begins to set.
1 minutes
6
Add dollops of sour cream evenly across the top of the hot nachos, distributing it so each serving area receives an adequate portion.

7
Serve the nachos immediately on the baking sheet or transfer carefully to a serving platter, as nachos are best enjoyed fresh while the chips remain crispy.
