Mozzarella Sticks
The following is a recipe on how to make breaded mozzarella sticks.

- fresh mozzarella cheese¼ pound

Cut mozzarella cheese into sticks approximately 3-4 inches long and 1/2 inch thick. Place them on a baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes until firm.

In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs together until well combined. Set aside a separate bowl with seasoned breadcrumbs mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

Dip each frozen mozzarella stick into the beaten egg, allowing excess to drip off, then roll thoroughly in the breadcrumb mixture to coat evenly.

Dip each coated stick back into the egg and then into the breadcrumbs a second time to create a double coating. Return the coated sticks to the freezer for another 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a deep pot or deep fryer to 375°F (190°C), using a thermometer to ensure the correct temperature.

Carefully lower the mozzarella sticks in small batches into the hot oil and fry for 1-2 minutes until the exterior is deep golden brown.
