Ingredients

  • bottle (1 cup) ranch salad dressing
    8 oz
  • (½) 1.25 oz pkt. taco seasoning
    1 unit
  • pkg. frozen spicy French fries - prepared as directed
    32 oz
  • cooked bacon - crumbled
    4 strips
  • shredded colby jack cheese
    ½ cup

Method

Prepare the frozen spicy French fries according to package directions, cooking until golden and crispy.

While the fries cook, combine the ranch salad dressing and half packet of taco seasoning in a small bowl, stirring until fully blended to create the dipping sauce.

Cook the bacon strips until crispy, then crumble into bite-sized pieces.

Transfer the hot cooked fries to a serving platter or bowl.

Sprinkle the shredded colby jack cheese evenly over the hot fries so it begins to melt.

Top the fries with the crumbled bacon pieces.

Serve immediately with the seasoned ranch dip on the side for dipping.
