  • tbs dehydrated lime peel
    1 unit
  • tbs dried rosemary
    2 unit
  • tbs dried thyme
    3 unit
  • tbs dried oregano
    3 unit
  • 1/4 cup
  • tbs freshly ground cinnamon
    1 unit

Method

1
Gather all ingredients: bay leaves, paprika, and sweet paprika. Ensure all spices are fresh and properly dried for optimal flavor.
2 minutes
2
Break the bay leaves into smaller pieces and place them into a spice grinder or mortar and pestle. Grind the bay leaves into a fine powder.
3 minutes
3
Sift the ground bay leaf powder through a fine mesh strainer to remove any large or coarse pieces. Discard the remaining coarse material.
2 minutes
4
Measure out equal parts paprika and sweet paprika and add them to a clean mixing bowl. Add the finely ground bay leaf powder to the bowl.
2 minutes
5
Whisk or stir all the spices together thoroughly until the blend is uniform in color and texture. Ensure no clumps remain in the mixture.
2 minutes
6
Taste a very small amount of the seasoning blend and adjust the ratio of paprika to bay leaf powder to suit your preference. Mix again if adjustments are made.
2 minutes
7
Transfer the finished seafood seasoning blend into a clean, airtight glass jar or spice container. Seal tightly to preserve freshness.
1 minutes
8
Label the jar with the blend name and date of preparation, then store in a cool, dark place away from heat and moisture. The seasoning will remain fresh for up to six months.
