Cookie Paint

Separate egg yolks into a small bowl, discarding the whites. Whisk the yolks until smooth and well combined.

Divide the egg yolk mixture equally among 3 paper cups, using approximately 1 tablespoon per cup.

Add 1/3 teaspoon of water to each cup of egg yolk mixture and stir until the consistency resembles heavy cream.

Add 1/3 teaspoon of corn syrup to each cup and whisk thoroughly to combine and create a smooth paint base.

Add a different food coloring drop to each cup, stirring until the color is fully incorporated and evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Dip the paint brush into one color of the egg paint and apply it to unbaked cookies using brushing motions to create designs or solid coverage.

Allow painted cookies to dry for a few minutes before baking according to the cookie recipe instructions.
