Tahini Sauce

Tahini sauce is made from tahini - a sesame seed paste. Tahini sauce is thinner and used in pita sandwiches, marinades, and dips. Tahini sauce is very easy to make.

Slowly add the lemon juice while whisking constantly, mixing until the sauce begins to thicken and lighten in color.

Continue whisking while gradually drizzling in the olive oil until the sauce reaches a smooth, creamy consistency.

Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or lemon juice as needed to balance the flavors.

Stir in the finely chopped parsley if using, for a fresh herbal note and garnish.

Transfer the tahini sauce to a serving bowl and use immediately, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
