Cook the rice according to package directions or bring 2 cups water to a boil, add 1 cup rice, reduce heat, and simmer until tender and water is absorbed.

While rice cooks, measure out the prawn powder, pepper oil, and lemon juice into separate small bowls for easy access during assembly.

Once rice is cooked, fluff with a fork to separate grains and allow to cool slightly for 2-3 minutes.

Transfer the fluffed rice to a serving bowl or divide among four individual serving bowls.

Drizzle the pepper oil evenly over the rice, then sprinkle the prawn powder across the top.

Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the rice and prawn powder mixture, adjusting quantity to taste.
